Iain Ballantyne

Married to Sue since 1970 with 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren, we have lived in the Chichester District since 2002. I first discovered Chichester Harbour in about 1961 as a boy sailing Cadet dinghies and have sailed here in some form of boat ever since. I have come to cherish this beautiful environment, and more recently become increasingly aware of how much of it is under threat.

Beyond hospitality and care work, there isn’t enough paid work to sustain our young people. We need new impetus on the local economy and environment. I’m here to contribute to a better future.
