Mrs Elizabeth Hamilton

I started out doing a BSc in Agriculture, lived in Easebourne for 38 years, bringing up my 3 children and working first as a teacher and then in family businesses. Now with 6 grandchildren I understand all the ups and downs and pressures of modern family life. Serving for almost 20 years on Easebourne Parish Council, 8 as Chairman, I learnt about local government and represented the parish at the Council’s Planning Committee. I also ran my own business, Pandora, in Midhurst.

Moving to Birdham 6 years ago I  joined Birdham Parish Council and was elected to the district’s The Witterings ward. I am Vice-Chairman to the Council and sit on the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

With my husband I volunteer in the water mill at the Open Air Museum at Singleton, and my hobbies include gardening and walking the footpaths of our beautiful Chichester District.
