Speaking at Council and committee meetings

Public Question Time is a well established opportunity for you to come along to meetings and ask questions of your local elected representatives on issues of local concern. A new leaflet which explains the public question time procedure can be downloaded from this page together with a form on which questions should be submitted.

Questions about specific planning applications and licensing and gambling applications will not be accepted for meetings which are to determine these applications because there are separate procedures for public speaking on these applications.

Details of these schemes and how they operate can be found on this page by clicking on the relevant document. If you require any further information about public speaking, please contact the Member Services team.
