Matters Arising from the Minutes Any matters arising as a result of the previous minutes. Minutes: King Charles III Coronation
Mr Brigden updated the Panel on the proposal to provide a fund for parish councils towards commemoration activities. Since the initial proposal, it was possible (in consultation with the Chair) to increase the grant available from £250 to £500 per parish council area, due to the amount remaining in the Grants budget for 2022-23 being added to this fund. Currently fourteen applications had been approved and four were pending.
UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Rural England Prosperity Fund
Mr Brigden provided an update on the Funds. Applications for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund were being received until 6 April 2023. In this year, there are relatively small amounts available under various interventions. The Council was still waiting for final confirmation of the value of the Rural England Prosperity Fund allocation for the district. |
