Mr Briscoe declared a prejudicial interest and withdrew from the room during the discussion. Mrs Apel took the Chair. Following the meeting Mrs Lintill, the Leader considered the recommendation provided by the Panel and made the decision outlined below.

Declarations of interest: Mr Briscoe left the meeting in accordance with his declaration of a prejudicial interest. Mrs Apel chaired the meeting in his absence
Purpose: To provide an interpretation board, two benches and a picnic table

Reasons: To improve the public realm and enhance public open space.

Alternative options considered and rejected: The Grants and Concessions Panel always considers whether or not to support each application
