Tracie Bangert

I was born in Halifax and moved south in 1986, moving to Southbourne in 1996. My husband and I have five grown up children who all attended local schools.

I have been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyspraxia which did not stop me from being awarded a BA (Hons) History as a mature student from Portsmouth University, followed by an MA in Film History.

I mainly worked in the library service but have also worked with homeless young people in Portsmouth.

I became a councillor in 2019.
