Note that there have been 4 fast track awards granted since the last meeting of the panel.

 

Note the grants approaching their expiry and consider the requests for extension.

 

To consider the individual summary sheets for applications for funding for 2024-25.

Background paper to draft Cabinet Report - 'Funding for Voluntary Action Arun and Chichester'

Recommendation:

As background to Item 14 and a reminder of the services provided by Voluntary Action Arun and Chichester (VAAC), the Panel has been provided with:

  • The “Summary Performance Report” previously presented to Panel in January 2024
  • A data insight produced by VAAC showing current demand and achievements

A report on community development work as an example of work that VAAC can also deliver by drawing in additional funding.

Funding for Voluntary Action Arun and Chichester

Recommendation:

That the Grants and Concessions Panel recommends to Cabinet that they recommend to Council the continuation of funding to Voluntary Action Arun and Chichester for the provision of infrastructure support to the voluntary and community groups and charities in Chichester District as set out in the report. 

 

15.

AOB Eligibility Guidance Notes 2024

Recommendation:

 

Following the Cabinet decision of March 2024, to make the necessary amendments to the Eligibility Guidance Notes.
