Grant Applications Financial Summary

The Panel is requested to consider the individual summary sheets for applications for funding for 2021-22

Minutes:

The Panel considered the report. Mr Cooper drew the Panel’s attention to the value of applications to be considered at the meeting.

He referred to paragraphs 3.2 and 3.3 and advised that agenda item 6 (The Murray Club – Bronze version of Murray/Nelson Sculpture) had already been determined and refused (the decision having been made by the Cabinet member for Planning in consultation with Mr Elliott and Mr Evans – all having been granted dispensations to enable them to consider the application).

There were, therefore, now nine applications for consideration at today’s meeting to the value of £49,232.  If members wished to support all the remaining applications, there would be an underspend of £13,456 against the remaining budget available.

The Panel agreed that the variation request, detailed at paragraph 3.6, in respect of an application from Ovation Music is determined by the Chairman outside of the Panel and the decision reported to the next Panel meeting on 29 June 2022.
