The forward plan is a list of the council's key decisions that will be made over the foreseeable future. By law the Cabinet must give at least 28 days notice before making a key decision. A key decision is one which is financially significant in terms of spending or savings (more than £100,000) or which will have a significant impact on communities in two or more wards.
This Forward Plan also includes other less significant decisions. This provides residents with the opportunity to have a say on decisions before they are taken. These decisions are taken in public, unless there are special reasons why the press and public should be excluded.
The issues which appear in the printed Forward Plan are as at the date advertised; the issues which appear as separate items on the web page below are updated in real time.
